I am a former English teacher-turned-children’s librarian.  Based in the Bronx since 2011, I’m passionate about kids coming to love reading by getting to experience characters, settings and situations they can relate to. So I’m diving into this blogging thing head-first, eager to learn, discover, gush and have a lot of fun.  My hope is that along the way, this site can become a resource for families, educators, fellow librarians and, of course,  readers, young and old, in the Bronx and beyond.
